;; appearance
general;;
He has brown eyes, a square but soft face with a long sharp nose and dark blonde hair. Though it is not always apparent he limps somewhat on his right leg. His shoulders are quite broad and he stands at almost 6 feet tall. Due to slight long-sightedness he wears glasses when reading.
Sometimes he dresses in flashy and bright clothing, greatly enjoying people's reaction to his undignified attires. But usually though, he wears simple and proper suits (still with a bit of flair whenever possible). Under the alias “M’sieur Grapin” he wears clothes that are as anonymous as possible, and a blonde wig.

;; personality
general;;
He can come off as a bit of an idiot but he isn't as stupid as he seems. But one thing he really is is a pacifist; he truly does believe that any problem or disagreement can be solved without violence. This makes some think of him as very naive. Which he may well be.
He also dislikes all the responsibility and expectations that comes with being a baron. Naturally, he knows it must be done but he doesn’t think he’s the right man for the job.

;; origins
general;;
Jérémie Garron was born the 12th of August, 1890, to the house Castelot-Barbezac. His childhood was what you would expect for an upper class boy in the late 1800s; He was happy and never lacked anything in his life. His teenage years were spent mostly on the sea - on Borda to be precise, where he crossed paths with Raoul.
He did perhaps spend some time in the army. Perhaps he was caught up in a more personal intrigue. His story changes every time but in any case, he was shot in the leg some years ago, which stills causes him to limp.
He never had anything against the idea of marriage, but he refused to have his bride chosen for him. So when he was to be presented to yet another woman whom his family considered eligible he decided that he had had enough. Sure, he went ahead with it for a while anyway, thinking that it would unfair to the poor girl if he didn’t at least give her a chance. But, as soon as the opportune moment arrived, he skipped town.
He travelled around the country for a bit, before ending up in Paris. The main reason for that was to visit the famous opera house. Not that he's all that interested in opera (people singing, dying, then singing some more), but he has heard so many stories from this particular place that his curiosity has gotten the better of him.
